Pottery family classes in Los Angeles
At this pottery class, you can join your children and learn how to use the pottery wheel together.
Each participant, regardless of age, will independently create a piece on the wheel under the guidance of a professional potter (such as a mug, bowl, cup, or small vase). At the table, you will also hand-build a saucer. You can choose to decorate your pieces with colored engobes (special ceramic paints) or select glazes from our wide palette. Whatever finishing option you choose, your ceramics will be fully functional and suitable for everyday use.
The class is suitable for children aged 3–4 and up. Before becoming finished tableware, each piece goes through drying and two firings, so the production time is approximately 3–4 weeks.

Mother and child classes in Los Angeles
This is a class where a mother and child work together in the studio to create one shared clay piece.
Sometimes young children find it difficult to feel comfortable trying a new activity with an unfamiliar person. Working together with their mother helps them adapt more easily. It also gives both mom and child shared interests and creative ideas they can continue to explore and talk about afterward.
You can create a clay piece with the handprints of both mother and child, or come up with something unique that reflects your special bond. Be sure to add the date to your piece—this way, the memory of the time you spent together will stay with you forever.
